Women’s Asia Cup Hockey 2025: India to open campaign vs Thailand on Sept 5 in China

In Hockey, the schedule for the Women’s Asia Cup 2025 has been announced. The tournament will take place in Hangzhou, China, from the 5th to the 14th of September this year. Indian Women’s Hockey Team will kick off their campaign against Thailand on the 5th of September. The Indian Team has been placed in Pool B, alongside defending champions Japan, Thailand, and Singapore, while Pool A consists of hosts China, Korea, Malaysia, and Chinese Taipei.
Team India, which claimed the Bronze medal in the previous edition, will be eyeing the top podium finish this time. A victory not only brings continental glory but also guarantees a direct qualification to the 2026 Women’s FIH Hockey World Cup, as the Asia Cup champions earn an automatic berth in the prestigious quadrennial event.

ऑपरेशन सिंदूर पर भारत के सांसद दुनिया को ब्रीफ करेंगे। केंद्र सरकार सभी दलों के चुनिंदा सांसदों को 22 या 23 मई से 10 दिन के विदेश दौरे पर भेज रही है। ये सांसद अमेरिका, UK, दक्षिण अफ्रीका, कतर और UAE जाएंगे। इनमें BJP से अनुराग ठाकुर और अपराजिता सारंगी, कांग्रेस से शशि थरूर, मनीष तिवारी, सलमान खुर्शीद और AIMIM चीफ असदुद्दीन ओवैसी भी हो सकते हैं।

सांसदों को विदेश यात्रा के लिए तैयार रहने को कहा: विदेश मंत्रालय (MEA) सांसदों को डिप्लोमेटिक मिशन के लिए रवाना होने से पहले जानकारी देगा। डेलिगेशन में 5-6 सांसदों के 8 ग्रुप्स होंगे। सांसदों के साथ विदेश मंत्रालय (MEA) का एक अधिकारी और एक सरकारी प्रतिनिधि भी जाएंगे। सांसदों को निमंत्रण भेजा जा चुका है। उन्हें अपना पासपोर्ट और ट्रैवल से जुड़ी जरूरी डॉक्यूमेंट्स तैयार रखने की सलाह दी गई है।
